Documentaries

Speaker. Writer. Producer.

I’ve been working as a freelancer with the Documentary Adaption Department at Germany’s international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, since December 2020. As a speaker, I narrate features and voiceover sound bites. As a writer, I translate documentary scripts from German to English. As a producer, I edit texts, prepare scripts for a team of voiceover artists and coordinate with sound engineers and video editors to make a broadcast-ready feature.

I narrated “The Power of Gentle Touch,” a documentary that examines the importance and benefits of gentle touch.

I narrated “Poisoned Land? The Rural Rise of Parkinson’s,” a film exploring the link between the use of pesticides and farmers, gardeners and other agricultural workers developing Parkinson’s Disease.

I voiced reports in this episode of “SHIFT: Living in the Digital Age” on how streaming platforms are changing the film industry.
