Reporting for NBC News
After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2015, I moved to New York City to become a Page in NBCUniversal’s flagship Page Program. For 12 months, I rotated through different assignments in the company, including as a production assistant at Weekend TODAY, a publicity assistant with Focus Features, a graphics builder for NBC News Election Unit’s Decision Desk during the 2016 presidential primary and caucus season, and a contributor to NBCNews.com. In that final assignment, I worked under the guidance and supervision of the editors of NBC BLK, NBC Asian America and NBC OUT. After graduating from the program, I accepted a job as a desk assistant with NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, working with the teams of both the weekday and weekend editions.
